     At Doggie Do Grooming and Boarding we strive to meet your individual needs and wants. We groom both dogs and cats at a reasonable cost in a reasonable amount of time.

     Quality Pet Grooming Products - We use only the highest quality pet products when grooming or bathing your pet. Most of our products are natural. They include shampoos, conditioners, flea control, skin care, cologne, and more.

     We use a variety of shampoos so we can cater to the needs of your pet’s skin and coat issues. These include Smoky Mountain Naturals (Pet Shampoos ... Smoky Mountain is a leading supplier of “creature-comfort” health and grooming products), TropiClean Shampoos, and Spa Select Shampoos.

     If your pet does not have any issues, then we use one of our many “scent of the month” shampoos, adding interest and variety to your pet’s care.

     Appointments are needed  - Our groom and bath pets are by appoint-
ment only, and your pet should arrive at our facilities between 7:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

     If you need a special pick-up time, please let us know when you make your appointment. If you wait until you arrive, we may not always be able to give you an early time out.

     Unless a special pick up time is prearranged, we will call you when your pet is finished and ready to go home. You can pick your pet up anytime before we close at 5:30 p.m.

     Same day service or special scheduling - Your pet’s grooming services may be scheduled for same-day service (drop your pet off in the morning, pick it up in the afternoon), or services can be scheduled during daycare or overnight boarding.

Socializing - Our groom dogs love to “socialize” before their bath and while waiting for a groomer. They run and play and have have fun in the open space in our grooming area.

     If you do not want your dog to socialize, please be sure to let us know ... that is no problem at all.

We have trained, experienced groomers who are gentle and kind when working with your pet ... yet they use a firm hand to ensure your pet’s safety. More info.

     Our grooming services leave your dog looking and feeling wonderful. We use a gentle but firm touch when working with your

pet ... gentle so they will be relaxed and happy ... firm so they will feel and be safe and secure.

    We provide special, gentle care to aging dogs and cats, and those re-

quiring special treatment while under the care of a vet. You can trust us to care for your pet in a responsible, loving, gentle manner so both you and your pet will be happy to visit Doggie Do Grooming and Boarding.

     We have several dogs and cats under our care that have nervous and/or health issues. When we work with these pets, we put as little stress on them as possible. The only time we muzzle a pet is if it is REALLY trying to bite.

     If your pet is highly nervous and does not want to interact with the other pets, we respect its feelings and put it in a little “house” all its own so it can calm down.

     If a pet becomes very upset while we are grooming it, we put the pet in a comfortable, secluded resting area so it can calm down some before we continue.

     Soothing words, gentle petting, and maybe a treat or two if this is indicated, calms down the most-nervous pets and we find we can work with them in a fairly stress-free manner.

    Rates - Grooming rates are based on the dog’s or cat’s size, breed type, coat condition, and level of grooming needed. Please ask us for our fee schedule.   

We groom cats too.

     Dog grooming includes the hygienic care and cleaning of a dog as well as the process by which a dog's physical appearance is enhanced for showing or other types of competition.

     Grooming may include bathing, brushing, clipping, trimming, cutting, styling, hair removal, stripping, and other tasks.

Our services include:

• Shampoos - for drying, we use a forced air dryer with no heating element
• Spa bath treatment
• Hair cuts and trims (face, body, tail, nail)
• Hair removal and stripping (partial or to the skin)
• De-matting, brushing
• Flea treatments
• Pawdicures
• Artificial paw caps (stops scratching from pet nails)
