Shiko Horses was founded in 1979. At that time we were only involved in Arabians and were known as Shiko Arabians. Our breeding program was designed and based upon root Egyptian lineage. In 1981 Sheikh Ibn Shiko became our foundation sire. He was a 90% Babson and Pritzlaff Egyptian stallion with dam lines to the 1st US National Champion Park Horse stallion Tamarlane. Tamarlane who was a son of the immortal legend Abu Farwa. Sheikh Ibn Shiko. Sheikh is best known for his son, Aequus+/, the winningest purebred Arabian Park Horse in history.

Shiko Horses is currently located in the scenic foothills of the Ozarks in Seneca, Missouri. Our facility offers breeding services with a stallion station of approximately 8 stallions of Arabian, Straight Egyptian Arabian, Sheykh Obeyd Arabian, APHA Paint, and AQHA Quarterhorses at stud. While primarily a breeding farm, SHOW TRAINING in many different disciplines is offered to clientele on an as-available basis. Our facility features indoor arena, roomy box stalls, foaling stalls, tack room, lounge, feed rooms, breeding stocks, grooming areas and wash rack, paddocks for turnout, and pasture fields. Horses are monitored throughout each day for anything that the horse may need and/or so that any problems can be identified and resolved quickly. Over 25 years of experience serves the horses at Shiko Horses.
